The Mississauga Train Derailment of 1979

Past Exhibition

The exhibition featured the Mississauga Train Derailment of 1979 as narrated through text, photo, artifacts and visual art. Featuring artistic interpretation of the historic event with painting by artists Pat Bond and Sonja Hidas. A unique collaboration between Museums of Mississauga, the Streetsville Historical Society and Heritage Mississauga commemorating a significant event in the history of the city.
