Stella Jurgen & Jazz Plazma

Stella Jurgen & Jazz Plazma

Summer Concert Series 2019

Stella Jurgen and Jazz Plazma is a four-piece acoustic-style jazz combo. We play a lighter style of popular jazz, Latin and jazz standards. We also like to jazz up modern tunes. We devote our attention to the audience and to the quality of our music to ensure a good time is had by all. Our featured vocalist Stella Jurgen is a truly international entertainer and singer, with a light jazzy style. Stella Jurgen was a child star in her native Portugal and, with five languages, she brings an unrivalled level of energy, enthusiasm and diversity to our music.

Indulge in the magic of receiving a hug... Created in response to our world that feels increasingly filled with prejudice and hate, A Warm Hug speaks to our primal needs of wanting to be loved and love others by shining its light with everyone without discrimination.

Learn about Mississauga's first black settlers with photographs and Museum artifacts that you can touch and hold. Create a page detailing your own Mississauga settlement story, which will be collected into a book and made available at the Bradley Museum.
