Starter Company PLUS Program for Music

Are you 18 years and over and interested in starting, expanding or purchasing a music industry business in Mississauga?

The Starter Company PLUS program for Music provides:

  • Free training and business skills development
  • Free mentorship and guidance
  • An opportunity to apply for a program grant of up to $2,000 after the completion of mandatory training and mentorship.

All types of music industry businesses are welcome including musicians, managers, record labels, studios and more.

The Starter Company PLUS Program for Music is delivered by the Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre (MBEC) for the Mississauga area in partnership with the City of Mississauga's Culture Division.

If you are interested in learning more about the program and how to apply, you must register for ONE of the following MANDATORY Starter Company PLUS information sessions which will be offered virtually on the following dates:

  • Eligibility requirements
  • Program requirements and expectations
  • Program training and mentorship, and schedule
  • Information about the program grant opportunity
