Pep Rally

2017

Imagination comes to life this Victoria Day at Celebration Square. Kids of all ages can live out their wildest dreams at this larger-than-life event for the whole family.

There's lots to do, including:

  • Step on up to the podium and take your turn to conduct an orchestra.
  • Keep the dancefloor jumping by playing DJ for our silent disco.
  • Put on a costume and play all afternoon in our tiny town.
  • See the world from inside a giant bubble at a bubble show.
  • Cool down in the City's biggest splash pad.
  • Take in a story in the shade of the giant book on the Square.

CBC's Nana Aba Duncan will host this afternoon of adventure, and Bookaboo will be here to share story-time at 12:45pm and 2:15pm.

Don't miss our delicious line-up of food trucks serving tasty treats all afternoon long.

Here's what's hot

Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, collars were up, and a wedding singer was the coolest guy in the room.

Celebrate all things Scottish at this tea in honour of the life and poetry of Robbie Burns. The Museums of Mississauga proudly welcome the city's Poet Laureate, Paul Edward Costa, to read from the works of Robbie Burns and share a selection of his own writings.

Indulge in the magic of receiving a hug... Created in response to our world that feels increasingly filled with prejudice and hate, A Warm Hug speaks to our primal needs of wanting to be loved and love others by shining its light with everyone without discrimination.

Learn about Mississauga's first black settlers with photographs and Museum artifacts that you can touch and hold. Create a page detailing your own Mississauga settlement story, which will be collected into a book and made available at the Bradley Museum.
