Named one of FEO's TOP 100 Festivals in Ontario, Mississauga ITALFEST is a free festival that shares Italian heritage and culture with the citizens of Mississauga and beyond. ITALFEST is a celebration of Italian arts, history, landscape, food, music and traditions. Mississauga Italfest has evolved into a unique, cultural experience for all ages attracting local visitors and international tourists. Showcasing emerging and established Italo-Canadian talent and exciting headline artists direct from Italy. Other features include authentic Italian food vendors, Bar Italia, children's attractions, pasta and watermelon eating contests, Italian Heritage Center, Heritage Awards, Bocce Ball, Italian card tournaments and more!

As well as moving to a two day event, thrilling attractions for 2017 include the infamous, award winning Flag Throwers of Faenza, Italy performing this incredible medieval art form ( made famous world-wide in the movie "Under the Tuscan Sun") that are sure to excite and transfix the audience.
